Maywood is celebrating our second anniversary.

What began with a simple desk shelf was made possible by those who believed in our values, even as we stepped into the still-unfamiliar category of “home office furniture.” Thanks to that trust, we were able to take our very first step.

From there, we gradually expanded our world—
participating in the 2024 Living Design Fair, opening our showroom, hosting a pop-up in one of Seoul's most prestigious department stores Lotte Avenuel, and launching our growing lineup of home office furniture, including standing desks, the Prestige series, and the Modest Drawer.

The second Living Design Fair in 2025, our first campaign shoot, and the pop-up at The Hyundai Department Store are moments that remain especially vivid to us.

While we constantly strive to deliver products of the highest quality, there were moments when we fell short. In those times, we felt both apologetic and ashamed that our standards had not been fully met. Yet we also remember those who, out of their affection for Maywood, chose to wait for us and encouraged us instead. For that patience and support, we would like to express our sincere gratitude once again.

We believe that the culture of a home office is something created together.
Each time a customer chooses Maywood, the idea of the “home office” as a space quietly reaches more people—and knowing this continues to inspire and strengthen us.

In Korea, having a dedicated home office space is not always easy. Even so, we believe deeply in the value and uniqueness of such a space, which is why we want to share it more widely.

A place where self-development and rest coexist—where one can read, work, and unwind with a film—this duality is what makes the home office so special. Maywood hopes to bring both the practicality and convenience of this space, along with the atmosphere we love, to more people.

Moving forward, we will continue to challenge ourselves within the field of home office furniture, creating well-crafted products that more people can enjoy. Even for those unfamiliar with the idea of a “home office,” we hope to share a part of the space we cherish—through the usability and thoughtfulness of our designs. With new desks, shelves, and furniture to come, we will keep refining and completing the world of Maywood.
